Matt Roan shares with us his ten all-time favorite tracks:

Stardust, "Music Sounds Better With You"
"This is just one classic dance song. Those Frenchmen know what they are doing when it comes to making club bangers."

Marvin Gaye, "Got to Give it Up"
"This happens to be my mom's favorite song. When my brothers and I were kids, we would have after-dinner dance parties to this song in my kitchen. It’s that good."

Lipps Inc., "Funkytown"
"A disco classic. The cheesy synth line, the vocoder vocals... but then the chorus is a whole different song. Two hot joints for one on this track."

Daft Punk, "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger"
"I think this might be one of the best dance songs ever recorded. I fondly recall playing this jam in my friend Kristen Ann's car as loud as we possibly could. We’d open the doors and have a dance-off in the middle of the street. The song inspires such behavior."

Prince, "Kiss"
"Prince is one of my favorite artists of all time. Dude has a five octave range, screams in key, completely shreds guitar, kicked it to Apollonia... he is truly a Renaissance Man."

Junior Boys, "In the Morning"
"I haven't stopped listening to this record since it came out and I don't think I'll ever get sick of it. This is one of the sexiest, smoothest jams I've ever heard. Jeremy Greenspan has an incredible voice that just blows me away."

Earth, Wind & Fire, "September [Tittsworth Remix]"
"Jesse Tittsworth is one of the best DJ's in the world; I've had the pleasure to play with him once or twice and his production and remixes always kill on the dance floor."

Musto & Bones, "Dangerous on the Dance Floor"
"This jam brings you back to 1990 in a serious way. I think it might have been responsible for my first sexual thought at the ripe old age of eight. Some pretty amazing stuff for two white dudes."

Debonair Samir, "Samir's Theme"
"This song makes me want to just start punching holes in the wall. The blaring trumpets are so loud and the bass so deep that I seriously have to jump up and down."

Herbert, "The Audience"
"Like Junior Boys, this track rides a fine line between dance floor stomper and smooth jazz sexiness. It’s the perfect song to close a sweaty dance set. You come out of the DJ booth and slow it down with that girl you've been watching all night."
